Parkview Tops Camdenton By 10

The Vikings beat Camdenton 66-56.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo--The high school basketball season is starting to pick back up after last week's winter snow.

Over at Parkview, the Vikings were in Ozark conference play.

And that's where we find KOLR 10's Megan Rice.

And the Vikings came out shooting in this one, Jake Brown with the three from the corner makes it 6-2 Vikings.

Then Autrey Accord with the take, he gets fouled and the basket, that makes it 10-4.

But here comes the Lakers, Colin Carlock with the step back basket, 10-6 Parkview up.

In the second quarter, Zach Brown in the defender's eyes drills the shot for the Lakers 16-10 Parkview.

Then the fast break for the Vikings, Accord with the layup 20-12 Parkview.

Then check this out, this is high school and this is Zach Cameron-Chodes with the filty slam 32-15.

Then the Lakers back to Zach Brown, he hits the triple that makes it 42-23.

Then to ice things out, the Vikings Jake Brown with the three pointer, the Vikings win this 66-56.

Zach Cameron-Chodes/Parkview Forward:"It felt good to get everybody excited on my team and the crowd.  I think it gave us a push to get through the first half.  I think we've come together a lot lately.  As a team in practice we focus on working together and it's carrying over to the games too." 

Dan, up next for Parkview, they will hit the road and play in the Sedalia Smith Cotton tournament this weekend.
