Ozarks Woman Admits Stealing From Employer

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- A Stone County woman faces more than 30 years in prison for money laundering and wire fraud.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. --   A Stone County woman faces more than 30 years in prison for money laundering and wire fraud.

The U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Missouri announced on Monday that Sarah Underwood of Galena pleaded guilty in federal court in Springfield.  Underwood admitted embezzling over $300,000
from her employer.

Underwood worked as the community manager for Fall Creek Condos in Branson.Underwood's sentencing date has not yet been scheduled.
