SPRINGFIELD, Mo--The Missouri State baseball Bears are opening a short mid-week non-conference homestand Tuesday night against Oral Roberts.

In our Bear Nation report, it's the Golden Eagles Tuesday, Kansas Wednesday night at Hammons.

First things first, and that's Oral Roberts.

And Jason Motte hanging out at Hammons Field, visiting with Cardinals fans.

Oral Roberts takes advantage of Missouri State errors early, here Dylan Becker's throw to first is wide, Austen Colt goes to second on the error.

He moved to third then scored on this Jose Trevino single to left, Colt scores it's 1-nothing Golden Eagles.

ORU loaded the bases in the first but Andy Cheray gets Graham McIntyre to strike out swinging to end the threat.

The Golden Eagles score again in the fourth, Brandon Healy grounds out to third, McIntyre scores it's 2-nothing.

And Oral Roberts wins 5-1.
