LITTLE ROCK,  Ark. -- According to Politico.com new numbers are in for four of the key Senate races of the 2014 cycle.

The Republican super PAC American Crossroads commissioned GOP firm Harper Polling to conduct the surveys of likely voters in late September (before the government shutdown).

In addition to generic ballots and head-to-heads for named candidates, each poll asked: “Tell me if you agree or disagree with the following statement: things have gotten so bad in Washington that we need to send a message by voting out every incumbent, regardless of their party and record?”

The Arkansas survey was done by live phone operator; the others were automated.

Results:

Democrat Mark Pryor 45, Republican Tom Cotton 42 (margin of error +/-3.93 percent).
Pryor job approval: 45 percent approve, 40 percent disapprove.
Obama job approval: 40 percent approve, 57 percent disapprove.
Should unseat all incumbents: Agree 45 percent, disagree 47 percent.
