New Details Released on Two Missing Branson Girls

BRANSON, Mo. – The Branson Police Department is seeking information in the possible parental abduction of two young girls Thursday night.
BRANSON, Mo. – The Branson Police Department is seeking information in the possible parental abduction of two young girls Thursday night.

According to a news statement, 8-year-old Delilah Fant and 6-year-old Farrah Fant were reported missing Thursday night from a condo 34 Gulfshore Dr. in Branson.   The Missouri State Highway Patrol has issued an Endangered Person Notification in this case and says the incident occurred sometime between 9:30 p.m. and 12:20 a.m.

The girls are believed to be with their non-custodial father, 44-year-old John Fant. Fant is last known to be driving a gray or silver 2002 Toyota Rav4. He is described as a white male, 5-feet 11-inches, 175 lbs, with brown hair and blue eyes.

The girls were last seen wearing flower-print pajamas.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the Division of Family Services is being awarded custody of the children.  John Fant took the children from their grandparent's residence, withdrew a large amount of money from the bank and fled the area.

Fant is known to frequently stay at time shares, but has no known permanent address.
