National Anti-Bullying Tour Stops in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – A national tour aimed at stopping bullying stopped at two Springfield elementary schools Tuesday.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – A national tour aimed at stopping bullying stopped at two Springfield elementary schools Tuesday.

The Teen Nation Tour, a year-long anti-bullying campaign and concert featuring teen recording artists, was at Delaware Elementary Tuesday morning and West Port Elementary Tuesday afternoon.

The tour started March 17 and will go through March 25, performing at 10 Springfield-area schools.

A public concert will be held at America’s Incredible Pizza Company in Springfield on Saturday, March 22.

Performers include former 'X Factor' contestants J Ryan, 14, of San Antonio, and Tristan Blaine, 14, of Frisco, Texas.

Additional guest performers include Faith Marie Shirley, 15, of San Antonio, and Collin Kozola, 17, of Naperville, Illinois.

The Springfield Teen Nation Tour includes morning and afternoon school performances at:

Delaware Elementary, 9:00 a.m.

West Port Elementary, 1:15 p.m.

Thurs., March 20 -

Cowden Elementary, 9:15 a.m.

Cherokee Middle School, 1:15 p.m.

Fri., March 21 -

Pershing Middle School, 9:00 a.m.

Carver Middle School, 1:15 p.m.

Tues., March 25 -

Reeds Spring Middle School, 9:00 a.m. and 1:15 p.m.
