The Springfield Lasers go for redemption in the WTT championship. And the St. Louis and Springfield Cardinals both win.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo--The Springfield Lasers are in a rematch of last years World TeamTennis championship and searching for it's first title in it's 19 year history.

Lasers looking for some redemption against the Kastles.

First event was men's singles. Michael Russell sends a heater down the line on Bobby Reynolds.

Then we pick it up mid volley and Russell return a little too far. Bobby Reynolds wins the men's singles 5-4.

To the second event women's singles. Martina Hingis and Lasers Olga Govortsova. Govortsova smashes it back for the easy point off the serve.

But Hingis lands the ace. She takes the event 5-2.

And in the mixed doubles Hingis and Leander Paes would shine against Govortsova and Ross Hutchins. The Kastles make it four straight titles winning 25 to 13 in player Bobby Reynolds final game.

"They told me before hand that, that would be playing for me so I was glad I could go out there and kind of do my part for two sets and we have an unbelieveable team. And Springfield hats off to them cause they have an unbelievable team too," said Bobby Reynolds.

"After the first three matches and the injuries nobody thought we'd get here. Nobody gave us a shot at beating San Diego. It was nice to be in the finals and obviously this our third time being in the finals and we want to win the title. We got to keep fighting and I know the franchise has done such a great job and every year it just keeps getting better. We're going to keep trying till we get it," said Coach JL de Jager.
