Mizzou Tigers Hope To Get Drafted

A handful of Mizzou Tigers hope to hear their name called in the NFL Draft.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo--The NFL draft will kick off at the top of the hour at Radio City Music hall in New York City.

And the Mizzou Tigers are hoping for more draft success.

Since 2009, six tigers have been picked in the first round.

A handful of Mizzou products hope to hear their name called before all seven rounds are over on Saturday night.

Defensive end Kony Ealy stands the best chance of becoming Mizzou's seventh first round pick.

Cornerback E.J. Gaines, defensive end Michael Sam, wide receiver L'Damian Washington, running back Henry Josey and offensive tackle Justin Britt all hope to be drafted.

"I haven't reached my full potential yet and that's pretty scary," said Kony Ealy.  "I'm excited about this process.  But I can't wait to get to the first pratice and first game.  That's why I'm ready to work.."

"I'm anxious to see where I go,' said Justin Britt.  "I'm more anxious to finally be on a team and an organization.  And actually be studying their play book and getting ready for the training camp the week after the draft."
