Mizzou Stops Bears 9-4

Mizzou beats the Missouri State Bears in college baseball 9-4.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo--The Missouri State Bears were in Columbia Tuesday night to take on the Mizzou Tigers.

In our Bear Nation report, Missouri State rolled into Taylor Stadium after six days off and winners of seven of the last night games played in Columbia.

And Missouri State wasting little time, top of the first, the Bears have the bases loaded for Eric Cheray, and he takes this deep to right, the rightfielder is on the warning track for the catch, Blake Graham scores on the sac fly, it's 1-nothing.

It was 2-1 Bears in the fourth when Jake Ring lays down the swinging bunt for a base hit, Logan Pearson scores it's 2-2.

It was 4-2 Mizzou in the fifth when Ring does it again, a seeing eye single to right, that scores both Dillon Everett and Pearson, 6-2.

Mizzou goes onto win 9-4, the two play here at Hammons Field next week.
