Mizzou, Arkansas Football On CBS

Mizzou and Arkansas will play the Friday after Thanksgiving, Nov. 28th at 1:30 p.m. on KOLR 10 and CBS.
COLUMBIA, Mo--Mizzou officially joined the Southeastern Conference in 2012.

But the Tigers have not played Arkansas in football.

That will all change on November 28th.

And the Mizzou-Arkansas football rivalry will step on center stage.

CBS announced that it will televise the game on the Friday after Thanksgiving nationwide with a 1:30 p.m. kickoff.

Of course you'll be able to see that game right here on KOLR 10.

Arkansas has played in that time slot in 17 of the last 19 years, most of the time against LSU.

But the SEC has officially made Mizzou and Arkansas cross-over rivals in football which means they'll play every year.

The game will be in Columbia, and it'll be the first time since 1906 that Arkansas has played in Columbia.

The last time Arkansas and Mizzou played was in the 2008 Cotton Bowl, and the Tigers won 38-7.
