ST. LOUIS -- A 16-year-old with dreams of becoming a sportscaster made his broadcast debut in St. Louis this week.

Andrew Honerkamp helped recap a St. Louis University basketball game on KSDK TV in a one-time stint Monday.

The teenager, who was born with cerebral palsy, says he hopes to one day be a sportscaster full-time.

"Even though I may have to do something different, I like to accomplish everything that everybody else does," says Honerkamp.

Andrew made his debut with the help of the station's sportscaster Rene Knott.

He also got a chance to watch Knott write his scripts and watch the producers build the sports rundown.
