SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- UPDATE: Springfield police confirm authorities have found a woman who was reported missing last week. She was found dead in Carthage over the weekend. Foul play is not suspected.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- UPDATE:  Springfield police confirm authorities have found a woman who was reported missing last week.

Police released this statement Monday morning:  "Elizabeth Myers was found deceased in Carthage on Saturday. Foul play is not suspected, and the Carthage Police Department is investigating."

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The Springfield Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a woman.

Elizabeth “Beth” Myers has been reported missing, she was last seen around 11:30 a.m Wednesday, April 23rd.

Myers is a 50 year old white female, she is about 5 feet 8 inches tall with brown hair and hazel eyes.

She wears brown glasses and drives a 2002 silver Ford Escape, similar to the one pictured above, with the license plate number WB5-R5E.

The Springfield Police Department asks anyone with any information to call them at 417-864-1810.
