The Nikkei is down 189 points today in Japan.
On Wall Street, the Dow was up 49 points at the close Friday.
And the Nasdaq fell 11.

When the weather warms up, so too will the U.S. economy. That's the prevailing view of economists, who shrugged off Friday's report from the government that the economy was weaker last quarter than first estimated.

The University of Michigan conducted a survey that found consumer confidence among young Americans is up.
In fact, those under age 35 have actually grown more optimistic that their pay will increase 5% within the next year.

And a restaurant chain in Florida is forcing customers to pay an, "affordable care act surcharge". The surcharge amounts to 1% of the cost of your meal. The money will help cover expenses the restaurant chain says, it will incur, in order to provide employees with health care, under Obamacare.

Google is donating nearly $7-million to allow San Francisco to continue providing free bus and other transportation services to low-income city kids.
The donation was part of a deal brokered by the city's mayor.
He's received backlash from some in the community who blame the technology industry for San Francisco's rapidly rising cost of living.
