Man Dead After Sea-Doo Collision

CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. – A man died after a head-on collision while driving a sea-doo Friday afternoon near the 18.8 mile mark in the main channel of the Lake of the Ozarks, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Blake R. Briner, 22, of Chillicothe, was driving the personal watercraft downstream when he collided head-on with another sea-doo.

According to the report, Briner was downstream being followed by Brett Keith, who was driving the second vessel.  Briner made a 180-degree turn and the two vessels collided.

Briner was transported to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, where he was pronounced dead at 4:35 p.m.

This is the second fatality for 2013 for Troop F.
