RIDGEDALE, Mo. -- The Legends of Golf Tournament officially tees off Friday, but events that are open to the public start on Wednesday. Tickets can cost up to $100 per day.

Wednesday and Thursday there will be a pro-am event and Friday through Sunday will be the actual Legends of Golf Tournament.

Because there are two golf courses, you really have two options all week long for daily passes. Either pay to watch golf just at Buffalo Ridge, or pay a little bit more to have a combo ticket for access to both Buffalo Ridge and Top of the Rock.

To watch one day of the pro-am on Wednesday or Thursday at Buffalo Ridge, those tickets are $35.

To have access to both golf courses for one day, Buffalo Ridge and Top of the Rock, plan on paying $75 a day.

That’s just the pro-am, what about the actual tournament that runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday? As you can imagine, because it's strictly professional golfers, ticket prices go up.

To watch the pros at just Buffalo Ridge for one day, those tickets are $45.

If you want to be able to watch the pros at both golf courses, those tickets are $100.

There are a few exceptions to this rule. If you use a MasterCard to get your ticket you can get anywhere from a $10-25 discount each day.

Also at Buffalo Ridge, kids under the age of 17 can get in for free if they come with an adult that has purchases a ticket - that's only Buffalo Ridge, not Top of the Rock.

The other way to get in free at Buffalo Ridge is if you are a current or past member of the armed services - Army, Navy, National Guard, etc.

And just an important thing to note, on the final day of the tournament, Sunday, all play will be strictly at Top of the Rock with a limited amount of tickets because it's a smaller course.

There is one other option for tickets; you can get a week long pass for both the pro-am and the Legends of Golf Tournament.

For a week-long pass to just Buffalo Ridge it’s $100. Or for both golf courses, all week, it's $300.

If you just want to purchase a one-day ticket, you may want to know who is playing where and when because the tournament is split on both golf courses.

The schedule for the pro-am has been released, but tournament spokesperson Sydney Friar says it may be Tuesday, June 2, before the have the schedule released for the big-names during the tournament.

"As we understand it, that's the normal process that it's the week of that you start hearing where these players are playing, and when,” she says. “You've got the Legends field, you've got the Champions field, you're splitting it, you're going to see those guys on both courses, both days, and so really, any day that you come you've got a great opportunity to see the all-stars of the game either way."

That information will be released to you as soon as we receive it. Currently you can get tickets over the phone or online, but once play begins you'll be able to purchase tickets at the shop that is located near the parking lot.
