Last Day to Register for Back to School Aid from the Victory Mission

At the Victory Vintage Thrift Store at 824 W. Commercial in Springfield parents and children are invited to register for assistance with the upcoming school year.

The Victory mission will assist 2,500 boys and girls this year with a back to school gift of basic school supplies required for his/her grade level - things like pencils, pens, crayons, scissors and notebooks. Each child will also receive gently used clothing from the Victory Vintage Thrift Store, books and a $20 gift card to purchase other essential items.

Applicants must bring the following documents: (1) An original social security card or government DFS print out for each child; (2) Photo ID and social security card for each adult; (3) Proof of income and address.

Assistance is open to residents of any county in southwest Missouri.
