Lady Bears Win Fifth Straight

SPRINGFIELD, Mo-- Lady Bears win fifth in a row even with out injured Kenzie Williams.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo--The Lady Bears hosted the Bradley Braves Sunday at JQH Arena. Heading into the game MSU had won four straight games and looked to make it five.

MSU's Kenzie Williams sidelined after her injury Friday night.

Lady Bears find Bry Snow down low and the basket makes it 10-6 MSU.

The Braves answering back as Michelle Young with the nice take. Gives Bradley a one point lead.

2nd Half action, Lady Bears Nijay Gaines gets the feed and puts it away for two. That makes it 40-39 MSU.

Later, Braves get it to Alyson Spinas-Valainis with the finish. 46-41 MSU up.

Here's Tyonna getting a basket then Bry. The Snow's set a record for sisters at MSU combining for 46 points.

As the Lady Bears win 78-72.

"Well we started with the intention a couple of weeks ago of winning four home games in a row. I am proud of our players that we were able to come out and accomplish that. Obviously today had some adversity with out having Kenzie on the floor," said Lady Bears coach Kellie Harper.

"Coming out in the second half we still felt like it was too close for comfort at the end of the game. So we definitely couldn't relax we had to be a second half team and put two halves together and come out with a win," said Lady Bears Bry Snow.
