Lady Bears Fall on Senior Night

SPRINGFIELD, Mo--The Lady Bears would lose to Illinois State on Sunday.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo--The Lady Bears tried to snap a three game skid against Illinois State Sunday at JQH Arena. Where Missouri State celebrated senior day and their final home game of the season.

Lady Bears Tyonna Snow, shot fake and drive makes it 24-20 MSU.

A steal by Alison Seberger and the fast break for Chloe Nelson with the pull up and score. Cuts the lead to three.

Then, Redbirds Katy Winge gets the baseline basket makes it 29-26 Missouri State.

In the second half, senior Hannah Wilkerson drives and misses the first one but gets her own put back for the and one. 43-38 ISU.

Lady Bears Tyonnna Snow finished with a season-high 26 points but that wouldn't be enough. Lady Bears lose 66-57.

"Really disappointed in our defense in the second half. Gave up 44 points. 57 points is not a lot of points to score for the game so we right now have to be better on the other end. In the second half we fouled way too much and it put them on the free throw line and I thought that was the difference in the game. That's not how you want to end senior night," said Lady Bears coach Kellie Harper.
