Kickapoo Beats Glendale Advances In Districts

Kickapoo survives a tough game with Glendale 47-45.
OZARK, Mo--The Missouri State high school basketball playoffs continued Thursday night with boys district semifinals in Class 5 District 11.

And it was rivalry night.

First up Kickapoo against Glendale in their southside rivalry.

And the Falcons could be the hottest team in the district.

This was close the entire game, Glendale's Ryan Wester spins away from the basket, and hits the jumper to give the Falcons a 24-20 lead.

But Kickapoo would tie it up, running the floor, Isaac Johnson penetrates, then the nice feed to Ryan Burland, and the 6-6 sophomore drops it in, we're all tied up.

Glendale back in front, again it's Wester, and he's attacking Kickapoo's lane, and the basket, 30-28 Falcons.

Kickapoo not going away, Parker Dean puts the rock on the deck and takes it all the way to the rack, that ties the game back up at 30.

And the Chiefs beat Glendale 47-45 to advance to Saturday's championship game.
