Joplin High School Graduation Rate Increases

JOPLIN, Mo. -- Joplin school officials say they are making big strides in helping get more kids to high school graduation.
JOPLIN, Mo. -- The graduation rate for Joplin's high school is on the rise.

Joplin High School principal Dr. Kerry Sachetta says since 2011, the school's four year on time graduation rate has increased 9.8 percentage points.

The class of 2014 had a graduation rate of 83.4 percent.

 Dr. Sachetta says this is the highest he's seen in several years.
