KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A Missouri restaurant owner plans to reopen his business, across the street from where his original building exploded.

Last year, a gas explosion destroyed JJ’s Restaurant on the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City.

On Wednesday, the owner announced he will reopen this summer.

46-year-old Megan Cramer died in the blast. Cramer worked in the restaurant and was originally from Springfield.
