Indiana State Whips Lady Bears

Indiana State whipped the Lady Bears 73-37 at JQH Arena.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo--The Missouri State Lady Bears tipped off at two game homestand Friday night at JQH Arena.

It's the last two home games of the season for the Lady Bears who will face Indiana State.

The Sycamores beat the Lady Bears by 18 points a few weeks back. 

It was a pink out game to raise awareness of breast cancer

The Sycamores would tear off an 11-nothing run, nice pass from Kasey Johnson to Marina Laramie it's 23-6 Indiana State.

The Lady Bears got a little something going late first half, Lexi Hughes with a three pointer, it's 25-13 Sycamores.

Then the freshman slashes inside and gets the reverse layup, but Indiana State led 32-18 at the half.

Second half, Munn's the word.

Anna Munn with another three from the left corner, it's 53-25.

The Lady Bears tried to answer with Hannah Wilkerson with this three, not enough.

Later Munn again, three of her 12 points, Sycamores up by 31 and go onto pound the Lady Bears 73-37.      

"We're at a point now where we have to step up or we're not going to enjoy the rest of this season.  I think we're putting a lot on our players, our staff and myself right now to be better," said Lady Bears coach Kellie Harper.
