A member of "Dancing With the Stars" is retiring from the show. And little monsters will be excited for new music from Lady Gaga.
Maksim Chmerkovskiy..."the badboy of the ballroom" tells the view he's calling it quits.
"I am not trying to do Lebron the announcement. I am done with Dancing With the Stars. I feel like its time."
Fans loved his memorable moments with Olympic ice dancer Meryl Davis who he won the mirror ball trophy with last season.
Some wonder if Max quit because he wanted to leave on top, but Sherri Shepherd thinks he may need more time with rumored girlfriend Jennifer Lopez.
"Might it be... might it be your done with Dancing With the Stars cause JLO may need you?" she asked him.
Max smiled and just shook his head.
He tells The View he keeps in touch with Meryl and will continue dancing.

No love lost between actors Freddie Prinze Jr. and Kiefer Sutherland.
Prinze tells ABC News his former "24" costar was "unprofessional" and the experience was terrible.
Prinze goes on to say he hated every moment on "24," and the situation even made him want to quit acting.
A rep for Sutherland says Kiefer never knew Prinze felt that way, but wished him the best.

Two New Yorkers are jazzing it up.
Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett released their first duet Tuesday from their new album.
The pair in studio singing Cole Porter's "Anything Goes."
The full album,  "Cheek to Cheek", comes out September 23rd.
