Alcohol and social media don't mix for George Clooney and Oprah is headed to the stage.
George Clooney says he's never joining Twitter.  The reason-- he likes to drink.
He made the remarks in an interview with variety to promote his new movie "Monuments Men."
The Hollywood A-lister added-- "I could easily say something stupid, and I also don't think you need to be that available."

Ashton Kutcher lashed out at Charlie Sheen on the Jimmy Kimmel Show.
"I'm going to public plea right now with Charlie. Dude, shut the *bleep* up." (Laughs)
Sheen responded by apologizing on Twitter, but within hours, tweeted "Dood, you ever tell me to shut the f** up, ever again, and I'll put you on a hospital food diet for a year."
Kutcher was referring to tongue lashings Sheen has directed at him on Twitter --since he replaced Charlie as the lead character -- on Two and a Half Men.

Oprah is reportedly headed to the stage.
The New York Times reports the media mogul is in talks to star in a revival of the off-Broadway play Marsha Norman's "Night, Mother."
Oprah will portray a mom who is trying to stop her daughter from committing suicide.
The play originally premiered on Broadway in 1983 and was revived in 2004.
