Chris Brown's assault trial is delayed and the White House responds to the Justin Bieber deportation petition-- sort of.

Chris Brown's assault trial in Washington, DC has been postponed.
It was originally scheduled for Monday but the judge delayed proceedings to give lawyers enough time to hammer out issues over testimony from Brown's bodyguard.
The two were involved in an assault outside of a DC hotel last year. Christopher Hollosy, his bodyguard, was convicted on Monday.

The White House isn't saying much about a petition to deport Justin Bieber.
The online movement received more than 270,000 signatures. Only 100,000 are needed for an official response-- but the official response was "no comment"

May 16th is Barbara Walters day in New York City.
Mayor Bill de Blasio made the proclamation on Monday's episode of "The View."
He called her a living legend who has done so much for New York City.
Walters is set to retire from TV on May 16th.
