FERGUSON, Mo.-- Curfew reinstated for Sunday evening, Aug. 17 in Ferguson, Mo. amid nights of rioting and looting.

According to a press release, Missouri State Highway Patrol superintendent Colonel Ron Replogle has announced that a curfew will remain in place within the City of Ferguson to protect public safety. The curfew begins at midnight and expires at 5 a.m.

Yesterday, Gov. Jay Nixon issued an executive order declaring a state of emergency and authorizing the Missouri State Highway Patrol to put in place the curfew within the City of Ferguson.
