"Grin" Iron Classics Continue to Give Smiles to Kids in Need

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.-- The “Grin” Iron Classic continues Saturday, June 7 with a girls’ all-star volleyball tournament to benefit the Ronald McDonald Tooth Truck.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo.-- The “Grin” Iron Classic continues Saturday, June 7 with a girls’ all-star volleyball tournament to benefit the Ronald McDonald Tooth Truck.

A girls’ all-star volleyball tournament will be starting at 12:00 p.m. in the Parkview High School gymnasium, Saturday June 7 with the championship game projected to take place at approximately 3:00 pm.

This All-Star Weekend features 130 graduated high school seniors and 28 coaches competing with some of the best athletes in Southwest Missouri

Tickets are $6 each (6 & under admitted free) and are available at McDonald’s, Price Cutter, and at the gate.

The “Grin” Iron Classic will benefit the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile, also known as the “Tooth Truck,” a mobile dental clinic for at-risk children who have no access to dental care.

Since its creation in 2002 the Tooth Truck has helped more than 16,000 individual children via 40,000 dental appointments.

The total value of care provided is a whopping $9.3 million in treatment, prevention, and education.
