GLVC Honors 4 Drury Panthers

Kameron Bundy was named first team All-GLVC, Adams, Carter and Patterson also honored.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo--The Drury Panthers climbed up one spot in the new NCAA division two basketball poll to number four.

The Panthers are the top seed for this week's GLVC tournament.

Tuesday, the GLVC released its post season honors and four Panthers were named to various teams.

Sophomore guard Kameron Bundy from Nixa was named first team All-GLVC.

Bundy leads the Pnthers with his 18 point per game average and four assists per game.

Cameron Adams was named to the GLVC second team.

Adams averages 17 points and six rebounds a game.

Ian Carter and Drake Patterson were put on the All-Defensive team.

"Getting an individual award is big for me," said Kameron Bundy.  "But the main thing is for our team to come out and win big and get back to where we were last year.  It's always going to be about the team.  We're a team, it's a team sport and we do everything together and we're a family."

"When teams have success, individuals get rewarded," said Cameron Adams.  "It's thanks to the program for the way we played.  And a little of my athleticism helped a little bit.  But I was able to get good looks at the basket because my teammates passed to me and I was able to finish."
