HARTVILLE, Mo. -- A former jailer in Wright County faces 17 felony counts involving corruption.

28-year-old David Lamson of Mountain Grove, who was employed as a jailer part time for the Wright County Sheriff’s Office, is being held on $85,000 cash-only bond, and is being held in the Ozark County Jail.

Lamson faces 14 felony charges of acceding to corruption by a public servant and three felony charges of sexual contact with a prisoner. Wright County Sheriff Glenn Adler says that the sexual contact charges stem from incidents that allegedly took place in 2011.

Adler says that the case has been turned over to investigators with the Missouri Attorney General’s Office.
