BOLIVAR, Mo. -- A former doctor who was serving prison time for illegally distributing prescription drugs has died.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons website shows that Nolan Crisp died on Monday, June 30.
In April of 2013, Crisp pleaded guilty in federal court to writing prescriptions for pain pills to his girlfriend, and clients he met in the parking lot of the Pomme De Terre Wellness Center in Bolivar.
Crisp was 77 years old.
