Extreme Emergency Cold Weather Shelter Open Through Feb. 6, Possibly Longer

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Salvation Army Extreme Emergency Cold Weather Shelter (EECWS) will remain open through overnight Thursday, Feb. 6, but may be remain open through the weekend.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Salvation Army Extreme Emergency Cold Weather Shelter (EECWS) will remain open through overnight Thursday, Feb. 6, but may be remain open through the weekend.

According to the Salvation Army, the organization is seeing unprecedented numbers of individuals seeking help through the EECWS. An average of 100 people rely on the program for a safe, warm place to stay through the night.

Volunteer and donations are still needed to help sustain operations.
