Elderly Exeter Woman Dies in SUV Crash

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Flonnie A. Henry, 77, was the passenger in a Ford Explorer that crashed on County Road 2185, about one mile west of Cassville.
CASSVILLE, Mo. -- An elderly woman from Exeter, Mo., died in a single-car crash Tuesay morning in Barry County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Flonnie A. Henry, 77, was the passenger in a Ford Explorer that crashed on County Road 2185, about one mile west of Cassville.

According to the Patrol, 56-year-old Debbie R. Henry failed to stop at a stop sign around 7:40 a.m. The vehicle ran off the road and struck an embankment.

Flonnie was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield where she was pronounced dead shortly after 10:15 a.m.

The Patrol says neither person was wearing a seat belt.
