Easter Seals Midwest, Annual Walk With Me Event

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.--Easter Seals Midwest, formerly, Life Skills TouchPoint Autism Services, has partnered with the Springfield Cardinals to sponsor Walk With Me April 19 in Springfield.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo.--Easter Seals Midwest, formerly, Life Skills TouchPoint Autism Services, has partnered with the Springfield Cardinals to sponsor Walk With Me April 19 in Springfield.

Walk With Me raises funds and awareness for developmental disabilities and autism in Southwestern Missouri.

Each Walk With Me participant will receive a complementary ticket to attend a Springfield Cardinals home game.

Walk With Me will be held at Jordan Valley Park with activities following the walk including a bounce house, face painting, lawn games, 5k competitive and non-competitive runs, a one-mile family fun walk and more.

"We are very grateful for the participation and support of the Springfield Cardinals," said Easter Seals Midwest CEO Wendy Sullivan. "One in 70 children in Missouri is diagnosed with autism, now, more than ever, quality services for children and adults with developmental disabilities, including autism are needed. All donations to Walk With Me will remain in Missouri to assist local families and individuals facing an autism diagnosis."

Easter Seals Midwest is the largest provider of autism services in the state and aims to help individuals with autism and their families learn, live, work, and participate in the community.
