Early Warm Weather Allows Zoo to Move Animals Outdoors

(Springfield, MO)--Warm temperatures return to the Ozarks earlier than usual this spring, allowing the Dickerson Park Zoo to bring some animals exhibits back outdoors sooner.
(Springfield, MO)--If you're looking for an excuse to head outside, why not go to the Dickerson Park Zoo?

Spring is the perfect time to check out their exhibits, including the tortoises.

Melinda Arnold joins us live from the zoo this morning.
The zoo moved some of the exhibits this weekend because of the warm weather.
One of the animals now on display are the Aldabra tortoises.

(Watch the attached video to see our visit with Melinda and the tortoises)
