Ealy Talks NFL Draft

SPRINGFIELD, Mo--Kony Ealy prepares for the upcoming NFL Draft.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo--May 8th is the NFL Draft and Mizzou star defensive lineman Kony Ealy has his hopes on a first round draft pick.

The defensive lineman is coming off an All-SEC season. He helped lead the tigers to a Cotton Bowl win. In his final game against Oklahoma State Ealy recorded six tackles and two sacks.

In the 2013 season alone Ealy had 43 stops, 14.5 of the for a loss, 9.5 sacks and 3 forced fumbles.

Ealy would be just the 7th tiger to go in the first round. And it would be the second straight year a mizzou defensive lineman went in the first round as Sheldon Richardson went 13th overall to the Jets last year.

"A lot of teams see me as a flexible guy. It's been a lot of talk with Tampa and Arizona. Just different 3-4 teams that will also go to a 4-3. I haven't reached my full potential and that is pretty scary. I am excited about this process but I can't wait to get to the first practice," said Kony Ealy.
