DGB: "Didn't Know Marijuana Was In Car"

An update on the marijuana charges against Mizzou wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo--Springfield police are still waiting for lab results to come back from the traffic stop where Dorial Green-Beckham was arrested January 10th.

Police found a pound of marijuana in the back of a car that the Mizzou wide receiver was riding in.

The Springfield News-Leader requested the arrest report.

And that revealed that another passenger in the car, Patrick Prouty admitted that the marijuana was his.

Green-Beckham told the arresting officer that he never saw any marijuana when he got into the car, didn't smoke it and didn't know who it belonged to.

The case will be handed over to the Greene County prosecutor's office when the investigation is complete.

At that time, a decision will be made on whether or not charges will be filed.
