SPRINGFIELD, Mo.--Annual Daylily display at Nathanael Greene/Close Memorial Park, July 5.

The Annual Daylily Display Show at the Springfield-Greene County Botanical Center at Nathanael Greene/Close Memorial Park is taking place July 5, from 10 am to 3 pm.

This is a free public display show and area gardeners are welcome to display their blooms.

This display show is a display of blooms only with no judging.

There will also be a tent in the Daylily Garden that's staffed to help educate garden visitors about the gardens and cultivation of daylilies.

The Ozark Daylily Society’s garden has attained official designation as an American Hemerocallis Society Historic Daylily Display Garden, making it one of a very select club.

An American Hemerocallis Society Display Garden is established to display the very best daylily cultivars to the general public. Its purpose is to educate the visitor about modern daylilies and how they can be used effectively in landscapes.
