Chiefs Off Day

ST. JOSEPH, Mo--The Chiefs get a day to rest from practice on Tuesday.
ST. JOSEPH, Mo--The Kansas City Chiefs get a much needed off day Tuesday.

In our kc blitz report we take a look at how practice has been so far.

It's been a highly competitive week or so of football at St. Joseph. For a team that is trying to get back to the post season in Andy Reid's second year as KC's coach.

Something to keep an eye on moving forward. Rookie defensive back Phillip Gaines left practice early with an apparent head injury Monday after breaking up a pass play.

The chiefs will be back at it Wednesday at 8:15 in the morning.

"It's not just finish a series or a game it's finish every down the right way. It's keep your attention to detail through out practice. These are long man. So you keep your focus and your attention to detail and your intensity level up and then you rest when it's over," said Andy Reid.
