SPRINGFIELD, Mo.-- Natural foods enthusiasts and bakers alike are learning how to make sourdough bread at Homegrown Food today, July 20.

The bread making class will take place from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm in the Kitchen at Homegrown Food at 607 S. Pickwick in Springfield.

Attendees will learn about mixing, kneading, hydration, shaping, and fermentation.

Participants will be able to taste their creations and take home knowledge on how to create their very own sourdough starter.

The cost is $20 a person or $35 for a couple. Ages 13 and up invited to attend this event.
