It's Oscar weekend and Chris the Critic from the Missouri Film Alliance is in with her picks for the winners and a look at the new movie Non-Stop.

NON STOP - An air marshal springs into action during a transatlantic flight after receiving a series of text messages that put his fellow passengers at risk unless the airline transfers $150 million into an off-shore account.  Liam Neeson brings his TAKEN butt-kicking to the air along with Julianne Moore.
SON OF GOD - As Easter approaches, this is the life story of Jesus is told from his humble birth through his teachings, crucifixion and ultimate resurrection.

GRAVITY - A medical engineer and an astronaut work together to survive after an accident leaves them adrift in space.  Sandra Bullock carries this amazing movie in what I feel is the female Oscar performance of the year. And, George Clooney co-stars.

NEBRASKA - An aging, booze-addled father makes the trip from Montana to Nebraska with his estranged son in order to claim a million-dollar Mega Sweepstakes Marketing prize.  Bruce Dern and Will Forte star.
THOR:  THE DARK WORLD - Jane Foster is possessed by a great power and Thor must  protect her from a threat.  Chris Hemsworth is Thor!
