LITTLE ROCK, Ar.-- Former President Bill Clinton will tour the tornado damaged Arkansas towns May 4.

Former President Bill Clinton is in Arkansas supporting Democratic gubernatorial candidate Mike Ross.

Ross is seeking the Democratic nomination for governor of Arkansas and faces former U.S. Rep. Asa Hutchinson in the May 20th primary election.
Clinton headlined the event at The Marriott Hotel in Little Rock but before he dove into politics he wanted to offer his condolences to the tornado victims.

"My thoughts and prayers are with the people who lost loved ones and their homes in that terrible tornado," Clinton said, "When I was governor we led America every year with the number of tornadoes we had. We got better with warning systems but as we saw from this last one, it comes quick and hard there's still no doubt that Mother Nature is still in the saddle."

Clinton will tour the tornado damaged towns May 4 with Governor Mike Beebe.
