Bears Trump Aces For Season Sweep

Missouri State beats Evansville 66-54.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo--The Missouri State Bears have never won a game at Evansville new home the Ford Center.

The Bears are 0-and-2, but Paul Lusk's crew was looking for back to back wins.

And back to back season series sweeps.

Quick start for the Bears, nice look from Dorrian Williams to Christian Kirk who starts things with a dunk.

Missouri State hot from the outside as well, Nathan Scheer with the three from the wing, 23-12 Bears.

Missouri State with the defense as well, Ron Mvouika with the steal, the hoop and the harm, it's 30-15, he had a double double with 14 points ten rebounds.

Evansville made a late first half run, D.J. Balentine with the hoop it's 31-23 Bears.

Paul Lusk's crew would keep it up in the second half,  Jarmar Gulley tips the ball loose and he gets it back for the dunk, 37-27 Missouri State.

Then the senior stops and pops from the free throw line, Gulley finished with a double, double 18 points, 12 rebounds.

Later Christian Kirk with the pick and roll, and the Bears inch over 500 in the Valley at 6-5 with a 66-54 win.
