Baxter County Website Allows for Crime Tip Submissions Online, Mobile

BAXTER COUNTY, Ar. -- The Baxter County Sheriff’s office has created an easy way fro citizens to submit crime tips to the office online and on mobile phones.

This new feature gives citizens the ability to upload non emergent photos, videos, audio and other files to the Crime Tips Form on the site.

This new feature is also available on our mobile version for those who access the website from their mobile phone or tablet.

According the Sheriff’s office, the ability to upload photos, videos, audio and other files to the Crime Tips Form will enhance the public’s ability to assist the Sheriff’s Office in investigating or reporting a crime.

A citizen who wishes to leave a tip has the choice of leaving a phone number or email address if they want to be contacted or may remain anonymous if they choose.

The Sheriff’s office warns that in the event of an emergency or need of immediate assistance, to call 911 or the Sheriff’s Office at 870-425-7000.

According to a press release, The Baxter County Sheriff’s Website continues to grow in its popularity since it launched in November 2007. The site has more than 1.1 million visits to our website so far in 2014 and an average of more than 34,000 unique visitors each month.
