UPDATE: Autopsy Results for 40-Year-Old Man, Toddler Found Dead in Home

CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo.-- Autopsy results from two bodies found in a Camden County home released today April 7.
CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo.-- Autopsy results from two bodies found in a Camden County home released today April 7.

The Camden County Medical Examiner’s Office has released the result of the autopsies of 40 year old Robert William Burns of Camdenton, and his daughter, 2-year-old Sadie Marie Burns, also of Camdenton.

The bodies of Robert and Sadie were discovered on March 7 in their home located off State Route D in Camden County.

Autopsy results indicate that Robert died of natural causes, and his daughter Sadie’s death has been ruled accidental.

Investigators say that the the 2-year-old drowned while taking a bath.

CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. – The Camden County Sheriff’s Office is investigation the death of a 40-year-old man and a toddler after they were found deceased in a home in the 7300 block of Hwy D.

According to a statement from the sheriff’s office, authorities responded to a call around 10:30 a.m. Friday to the residence.

Upon arrival, police located the two deceased in the home.

An investigation into the deaths is ongoing.
