SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Firework stands are cashing in on the perfect weather. KOLR10's Brett Martin visited on Springfield-area stand to find out what the biggest sellers are this season.

"We are out here just east of Springfield at Crazy cheap fireworks and we are joined with the two ladies that are making it all happen. Its just 48 hours from the Fourth of July. This year is going to be a lot different than the last years that we've had in the past. We've had some rough fourth of July but this year it just seems to be perfect for you guys. How important is that?"

Kathy Towe, owner of Crazy Cheap fireworks: "Its very important that the weather cooperates and that people know that nothing is going to catch on fire and that there is going to be plenty of rain to help out with that."

Brett:  "You were telling me that this is probably one of the biggest tents here in Springfield so I can imagine it takes a lot of work, not only to operate it while you guys are open but even to just get ready for this season."

Kathy:  "Yes, my husband and my son in law start weeks ahead of time, putting up the tents and putting the tables out and doing the bunting around the tables and getting the stock lined out."

Brett:"And Teresa, you are here most of the time so you are knowing what is selling the most so what are some of these big items that people absolutely need to have for their own display."

Teresa Worley:  Assistant Tent Manager:  "People love the big 500 grams they make a really nice display and they also love the reloadables."

Brett Martin:"And these are the 500 grams right here right? So what can I expect out of something like this?"

Kathy: "Huge display that shoots way in the air, usually anywhere from 9-15 shots."

Brett: "You guys are all around the Ozarks, Bolivar, here, Ozark, tell me the hours."

Kathy:  "Through the third we are open 8-11 and on the 4th we are open until midnight."
