SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – More than double of last year’s donation of 7,000 diapers was collected for the second annual CoxHealth Diaper Drive.

This month, CoxHealth's hospitals in Springfield, Branson and Monett spent time collecting diapers for the second annual CoxHealth Diaper Drive in partnership with the CoxHealth Foundation. With the help of Price Cutter and its affiliate stores joining the effort, 15,058 diapers were collected.

"The results exceeded expectations and our goal of collecting 10,000 diapers," says Donyta Upton, manager of The Women's Center. "It's exciting and rewarding to know that our employees and community are willing to help those in need. This will be a huge benefit to many Ozarks families."

"By having collection bins at our sixteen local stores, we were able to help make it more convenient for our community members to participate in the diaper drive,” says Bill Stroup, Marketing Director for Pyramid Foods (parent company of Price Cutter, Country Mart and Ramey stores).

Donated diapers in all sizes have been distributed to Diaper Bank of the Ozarks in Springfield, the Tri-County Pregnancy Center in Monett, Jesus was Homeless in Branson and Christian Associates in Kimberling City.
