Current Flu Outbreak Kills 9 in St. Louis

(CNN)--ST. LOUIS, Mo.-- -A flu outbreak, responsible for claiming nine-lives, is reported at the Barnes-Jewish hospital in St. Louis.
(CNN)--SAINT LOUIS, Mo--A flu outbreak, responsible for claiming nine-lives, is reported at the Barnes-Jewish hospital in St. Louis.


Officials there say the victims range between 20 and 60 years old.This has been an especially rough flu season nationwide, especially in parts of Missouri.


Doctors at the Barnes-Jewish hospital say they're seeing at least 10 flu cases every day.


According to the St. Louis county health department, young adults are the ones getting attacked the worst by the H1N1 flu strain.


The centers for disease control and prevention say it's never too late to get a flu shot, and suggest it strongly for highly effected areas.
