Crusaders Hit The Road To Baker

Evangel will look for a second straight win at Baker.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo--The Evangel Crusaders are healing up and will hit the road Saturday when they go to Kansas to play Baker.
The Crusaders beat Graceland last week 38-24 and that moved the team's record to 3-and-4 overall.
Baker is 7-1, in second place in the Heart of America conference and is ranked sixth in the country in the NAIA poll.
Last week Andrew Brimhall was able to play on his gimpy knee.
He threw for three touchdowns.
Coach Brenton Illum says he hopes the senior will be ready to go against the Wildcats.
And it's not just Brimhall, but a number of his other walking wounded will be back in action.
Brenton Illum/Evangel Football coach:"We're actually getting a little more healthy as the season goes along, which is exciting.  We have three more games.   All three against big teams and hopefully we're hitting our stride.  They have tremendous players and a great coaching staff and play physcial.  It's going to be a big battle for us.."
