SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Comic book lovers gathered in Springfield Sunday for Rublecon 2012.
The event at the Howard Johnson Hotel was in Springfield for the second straight year.
There were 15 vendor tables with collectibles for all ages along with thousands of comics and action figures on display.
Organizers says this year's turnout was at least as good as last year's.
"Everybody swaps and trades," says Rublecon 2012's Daniel Ruble. "The kids love it. We have mystery boxes, every box has $20 to $100 of value for $5. That money goes to local families here in the Ozarks to needy families."
Ruble says he hopes Rublecon 2013 will be a two day event.
