SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Security will be heavier today at Sprignfield's Central High School.  But classes will be held as usual, despite a threat found last week.

Central's principal, Ron Snodgrass, notified parents last week about the threat found in a restroom.

Snodgrass says all events, practices and classes are scheduled as normal today.  Parents were notified again Sunday night through the "Alert Now" system that school will be in session Monday.

Snodgrass told parents threats like this normally turn out to be unfounded but school leaders want to take every precaution.
